Revamping logo for a international film distribution company

Logo represents our international film distribution company and will be seen all across the world.

I've attached a sample of what I was thinking (DGA style)

We would like IPA to replace DGA and have ASIA PACIFIC REGION around instead of Directors Guild. We would like our logo in the center instead of the eagle. Feel free to spruce up the our logo and the overall design. Looking for something really creative and identifiable.
FYI: we dislike our current text on our logo. Need something new and fresh.
We do like black/gold or red/black as we need it to be transparent. Also open for other colors you might think is nice.
