Logo for an aquaponics sales and consult company.

I design aquaponic systems, and sell specialty parts and fish for the industry. Aquaponics is a combination of aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (soil-less plant growth).
I would like a logo that works with the word fishnet, and also recognizable as a stand alone icon.
Key elements of aquaponics are:
- cyclical nature...re-circulation
- water/earth/sun/life/green/growth
- eco friiendly
- water conservation
- fish/plants

I'm open. Blue for water and Green for plants are logical choices, but virtually every aquaponics logo out there is blue/green, definitely overused.

I have considered simply using the outline of a fish, filled in with netting. I also once played with the idea of a mermaid with fishnet instead of scales. I like sexy logos, like the hydroponics nutrient companies have trended towards, but sexiness kept subtle.
