Logo for a women's and children's clothing boutique

We are wanting a logo that will attract a predominantly female clientele. The products the company is merchandising is smocked children's clothing and women's boutique style clothing. Text in the logo must be clearly legible as it may be applied in the following marketing formats: website, billboards, magazine, etc. The audience must be able to view and understand our marketing at first glance of looking at the logo. . .elegant and clean; not too fancy or gaudy. We prefer bold, easy-to-read lettering over squiggly script font styles. Prefer colors to be limited to 3 to reduce printing production costs but no limitations on what colors to use or combinations.

We are a Louisiana-based company and with "southern" in the name, the fleur de lis could be integrated in a nontraditional way (subliminal, watermark, used to dot the "I"?). Fair warning though, this symbol is overused in this part of the country and its going to be challenging to keep it from looking cheap.
