Logo for a tech products company

We create technology products and accessories for outdoor and extreme sports. Most of our products are used to protect things like smartphones, tablets and cameras, but we also have products like speakers and flashlights. Our customers are generally aged between 20 and 40, mostly male.
STYLE - Our logo must show convey toughness and strength. You can use a gorilla in the logo, but it must not look too aggressive or too cute. Best is something that's a little funny or humorous - nothing too corporate looking.

STRUCTURE - must have two parts - a symbol (that can be used on its own) and the text. E.g. when you have "Nike" and the Nike tick
TEXT - "Gorilla" should be the main word. "gear" is optional in the logo, but if you include it, it should not be the same size as "gorilla"
COLOURS - up to you BUT, the logo must be clear and easy to read in either black and white or single colour.
FINALLY, we will check your other designs on this website - please don't just use a font you have designed to write our name...
