Be the Difference. Together.
Yes
We want to convey that we are all about working together to make our community a better place. We are a church, but we feel like the religious component is conveyed in our name... so we do NOT need to have religious symbols in the logo. Instead we would like to tie in with the water theme (since we are near the beach and our name is Coastal), and most importantly we want to convey the idea that we are offering people a place where they can come join our family of friends making a difference together.

Make it really represent a beach feel along with the idea of people coming together for something greater than they can accomplish on their own. We are hoping it will be powerfully simple.
